The Chrysler Museum of Art’s Halloween Harvest Festival is a thrilling event for all ages. Now a Norfolk tradition, visitors are invited to join the fun with live performances, hands-on art-making, spooky tours, magic shows, and more. Costumed kiddies and their “grown-ups” are invited to show off their costumes and watch artworks come alive in ways that defy imagination.
Schedule:
- 12:30, 2, and 3:30 p.m.: SuperFoods with Food for Life Instructor LaQuita Marie Staten, Gifford Room
- 1:15 and 2:30 p.m.: Magic Show by Rob Wescott, Huber Court
- 1:45 and 3 p.m.: Multimedia story experience, Le Voyage Dans La Lune (A Trip to the Moon), featuring music by Karacell and dramatization by Bethany Mayo, Kaufman Theater
- 2 p.m.: Creepin’ Tour, a short but fun art adventure, starts in Huber Court
- 2:15 and 3:45 p.m.: Show off your costume at Call of the Wild Community Portraits, Huber Court
- 3:15 p.m.: Costume parade and dance our way through the Museum, starts in Huber Court
- Ongoing: Ghoul Garden by Curtain Call Xscape Room, Memorial Garden
- Ongoing: Perry Glass Studio Pumpkin Sale, Mary’s Garden
- Ongoing: Games, Front Lawn
- Ongoing: Halloween art-making, Education Workshop
