At the Glass Studio

Beginner Classes

Learn the basic methods of glassmaking in these overview classes. No experience is necessary!

When taking a hot glass class, your object will need to slowly cool down in the kiln over a few days. You will receive a call when it is ready for pickup. We also offer the option to have your object shipped.

Pumpkinpalooza

SOLD OUT
Create your very own glass pumpkin. You will inflate your pumpkin with a special compressed air device. Ages 5+

Short Sessions: Hot Glass Classes

Resumes Nov. 5
Select your object, choose from an array of color options, and with the instructor’s help, apply colorful crushed glass to molten clear glass on a long metal tube. Some objects are inflated with a special compressed air device while others are manipulated by hand with metal tools. Ages 5+

Take-Home Fusing Projects

Not quite ready to spend time at the Glass Studio? Create a colorful glass project at home. The kits include everything you need to design your work of art. Bring your completed project back to the Glass Studio, and we will fire it in the kiln. Call to reserve your project. 757-333-6299.

$24 per item for Members / $30 per item for Non-members. Discounts available when purchasing two or more coasters. Final colors may vary.

Private Lessons

Individual Training

Invest three hours in concentrated one-on-one training with a skilled instructor. Prices for Members start at $220.
