The Chrysler Museum is committed to protecting your privacy online. We’ll first summarize our policy in just three bullets, then we’ll publish the full policy below.

We do not sell or rent your email address to spammers.

On rare occasions in the past, we have shared our mailing list with like-minded institutions for the purpose of providing information on events/exhibitions believed to have been of interest to our subscribers, but we have never and will never sell or rent our list for the purposes of commercial solicitation.

We collect personal information only if you are submitting it, and only for the purposes of membership or online transaction.

In all cases involving potential payment, you have the option to pay by check. There is no requirement to use electronic commerce.

All personally identifiable information is gathered via secure, SSL encrypted forms and protected with state-of-the-art computer security applications, such as firewalls.

Signing up for our email notifications does not require a credit card number or social security number.

Privacy Policy

Chrysler.org does not collect personally identifiable information about individuals—such as names and postal and/or e-mail addresses—except when it is knowingly provided by said individuals.

This Privacy Policy only applies to transactions made and data gathered on the chrysler.org website and does not apply to any other website. The Chrysler Museum’s website contains links to other Internet sites, and the Chrysler Museum is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such websites. When you make a donation or purchase a Membership online, your credit card information will be temporarily stored on a secure transaction server, and we will retain the personally identifiable information you provided for our records and to facilitate customer service.

When You Provide Personally Identifiable Data Related to Email

The Museum will use your information to provide you with updates about exhibitions, programs, and special offers available to you. Any personally identifiable information voluntarily provided by you will be used for the purpose(s) for which the information was provided. On rare occasions this could mean it could be shared with other carefully screened reputable organizations or companies whose products and services might interest you but whose privacy policies may differ from ours. Your personally identifiable information will not be disclosed or used for purposes other than those specified without your consent, except as authorized by law.

Opting Out

Every informational emailing from the Chrysler Museum includes a link to unsubscribe to all future email communications.

E-mails

If you e-mail the Museum, your message and e-mail address will be forwarded to the appropriate department within the Museum.
