Big Vibes, Bold Tattoos, and Beautiful Prints at IgNITE: INK!
NORFOLK, Va., April 15, 2025 –
WHO: The Chrysler Museum of Art invites visitors ages 18+ to an ink fiesta, pairing the region’s best tattoo artists with exciting and diverse printmaking.
WHAT: Get ready for IgNITE: Ink!, an adults-only party designed to ignite your imagination with a high-volume dose of dancing, music, cocktails, and the sheer thrill of being alive! Flash your tattoos while getting busy on the dance floor, experiment with printmaking techniques, enjoy music mixes and artmaking, and delight in Mezcal and Mexican street food. You won’t want to miss out on:
- Tattoo Artist on site, sharing portfolios, providing consultations, and talking all things ink
- 2025 Coastal Virginia Print Fair presented by eight local artists including Norfolk Zinefest
- Gigantic drum roller printmaking, live with studioSHIFT
- Performances by the Getdown and DJ sets by Vinny Del Sol
- Collaborative creative lounge with InkWell
- DIY temporary tattoo station with Virginia MOCA inspired by their Duke Riley exhibition O’er the Wide and Plastic Sea
- Mezcal tastings and a specialty mezcal cocktail
- Plenty of surprises throughout the night

WHY: Inspired by the Chrysler Museum’s exhibition Oaxaca Central: Contemporary Mexican Printmaking, IgNITE: INK! promises to be a party like no other.
TICKETS: Early Bird pricing is $10 for Museum members and $20 for non-members. Tickets increase by $10 on the day of the event. Tickets are available now at chrysler.org/ignite
