Spring Flower Guild Demonstration
NORFOLK, Va. – The Chrysler Museum of Art Flower Guild will present the Spring Flower Demonstration featuring Patrice Dupuis of Bloom–the Art of Flowers on Tues., Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Originally from Maine, Dupuis relocated to Virginia in the early 1990s after a successful catering and home management career in New York. She opened Bloom–The Art of Flowers, a full-service floral company specializing in weddings and events, in 2001. She is an active member of the Chrysler Museum Flower Guild.
The demonstration will be held in the Chrysler’s Kaufman Theatre. The fee is $25 for Flower Guild Members and $45 for all others. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling (757) 333-6318 or at The Museum Shop.
The Chrysler Museum of Art is one of America’s most distinguished mid-sized art museums with a world-class collection of more than 30,000 objects, including one of the great glass collections in America, and a new Glass Studio that opened in November. The Museum is located at 245 West Olney Road in Norfolk and is open along with the Glass Studio on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Thursdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sundays, noon-5 p.m. The Chrysler campus is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as on major holidays.
