Dana Fuqua
Deputy Director for Operations
Dana Fuqua joined the Chrysler Museum of Art in 2006. As Deputy Director for Operations, she develops and implements organizational procedures to ensure efficiency and performance. She manages the Accounting, Human Resources, and Facilities departments, and oversees IT implementation. Fuqua implemented new payroll software, introduced a merit-based pay system and comprehensive benefits program, and ensured the Museum’s $24 million renovation in 2014 was completed within budget and on schedule. She oversaw the $4.5 million purchase and renovation of real estate adjacent to the Museum that is now the Perry Glass Studio and has since been an integral part of the $55 million Campaign for Chrysler effort that added a new Works on Paper Center and expanded the Glass Studio to triple its original size.
Before joining the Chrysler Museum, Fuqua was an auditor for Cavanaugh Nelson & Co., managing audit engagements for not-for-profit organizations and corporate entities. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Fuqua’s dedication and fairness have secured the financial Chrysler Museum as a forerunner in the museum world.
