Director of Visitor Services
With more than twenty years of customer service management experience, Colleen Higginbotham manages the visitor experience at the Chrysler Museum through supervision and training of frontline staff, ongoing analysis of visitor research, coordination of visitor logistics, and oversight of the Museum Shop, catering contract, and Special Events department.
In 2007, she implemented the Museum’s Gallery Host program to create a warmer welcome to all Museum visitors. Galley Hosts provide service, security, and engagement throughout the museum to assure the safety of the collection, answer questions, and engage visitors in casual conversations about art. The program garnered national recognition and is now used as a model for other museums across the country.
