Make the Chrysler Museum of Art Part of Your Holiday Traditions

NORFOLK, Va. (November 18, 2025)– With free admission to its exhibitions and galleries, the Chrysler Museum is the perfect holiday destination. Whether shopping for unique gifts in the Museum Shop, crafting ornaments at the Perry Glass Studio, or enjoying family-friendly festivities, the Chrysler Museum offers a seasonal lineup full of wonder and creativity.


 

At the Chrysler Museum of Art:

Mixtape: First Thursday
Thursday, December 4, 5–9 p.m.
Enjoy festive jazz music by Hampton Roads’ legend Jimmy Masters. Enjoy free cider, hot chocolate, and a gift-wrapping workshop at Zinnia Café. Plus, attendees can make and take holiday cards using printmaking and Polaroid photo transfer processes.

Free. Registration not required.

Brunch with Santa
December 24, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
Zinnia Café will offer a special brunch menu, specialty hot chocolate, and complimentary pictures with Santa.

Wonder Winterland
Friday and Saturday, December 26–27, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Wear your best pajamas and join the Chrysler Museum for live music, tours, storytelling, artmaking, and the 7th annual Chrysler Bake Off! At 1 p.m., gather in Kaufman Theater for a free screening of the movie Happy Feet.

Free. Registration not required.

Chrysler Bake Off
Saturday, December 27, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
The Great Chrysler Bake Off is back and happening during Wonder. Show off your baking skills in this “just for fun” baking battle, where youth and adult bakers compete to create the best confectionery masterpiece inspired by a work of art in the Museum’s collection. Not a baker? Not a problem! Admire the sugary submissions, enjoy live music, and participate in artmaking.

Free to attend and participate. Registration not required to attend. To register as a baker, submit your registration form by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, at chrysler.org/bakeoff.


 

At the Perry Glass Studio:

Hot Glass: Ornament Spectacular
Weekends and select Thursdays and Fridays, November 28–December 31, 2025
Create a colorful blown glass ornament with the help of the Perry Glass Studio team. Choose your colors, inflate a hot glass bubble, and watch it transform into a one-of-a-kind ornament.

Ages 5+. $60 for Museum members, $75 for non-members. Register at chrysler.org/glass.

Holiday Snowman
Weekends and select Thursdays and Fridays, November 28–December 31, 2025
Learn how to shape molten glass and create a hot-sculpted snowman.

Ages 12+. $80 for Museum members, $100 for non-members. Register at chrysler.org/glass.

Perry Glass Studio Holiday Sale
December 12, 7–9 p.m., and December 13–14, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Museum Member Early Access on December 12, 6–7 p.m.
Celebrate a shopping experience unlike any other, at the Perry Glass Studio’s annual holiday sale. Support local artisans and find handcrafted jewelry, décor, and more to delight everyone on your list.

For a little extra holiday cheer, enjoy a cash bar on Friday evening.

Museum Member Early Access at 11 a.m.
“Shop with purpose” this holiday season with gifts that directly support the Chrysler Museum’s mission. All shoppers receive 15 percent off regular prices, while Museum members enjoy 20% off. Refreshments will be provided.
