'Tis the season to bake sweet treats.

Get ready for the most creative baking contest in Hampton Roads! Show off your skills and whip up a baked good inspired by a work of art in the Chrysler’s collection. Join us for the third annual Chrysler Bake Off on Friday, December 3 from 6–9 p.m.

Bakers, visit the Museum or browse our online collection for ideas. Registration closes Tuesday, November 30. People's Choice voting for Online participants begins Wednesday, December 1.

Participant Categories

In-person Professional: Entrants who have a source of income derived from commercial baking or cooking in a professional environment (restaurant, hotel, canteen, bakery, shop, etc.) or have been employed as a baker, cook, or chef.

In-person Amateur: Entrants who do not have any professional qualification in baking, cooking, food production, food preparation, or catering, and have never been employed as a baker, cook, or chef.

In-person Young Baker: Amateur bakers 18 and under.

Online: Open to all and the winner will be selected by People’s Choice voting between December 1–3.

Judging and Prizes

Entries will be judged on creativity and execution. Submissions will not be taste sampled. In-person participant winners will be announced for each category, Amateur, Professional, and Young Baker as well as a People’s Choice. The online participant winner will be selected by People’s Choice only. Use the form below to complete your registration.

Share Your Creation

Share your process! On Facebook or Instagram, tag a picture of your baked good and include a mention of your inspiration piece using #ChryslerBakeOff.
