Internship Opportunities
The Chrysler Museum welcomes ambitious future museum professionals for experiential learning over the summer. In addition to paid internships offered directly by the Chrysler, the Museum has specific paid internship opportunities with partner institutions.
Explore the opportunities below. If you have any questions about the internship program or application process, please contact Stacey Shelnut-Hendrick, Deputy Director, Public Engagement and Learning, at shendrick@chrysler.org.
Select from a variety of departments throughout the Museum.
Candidates are nominated by NSU faculty and placed in the department best matched to their interests and career goals.
The Chrysler Museum and Hampton University Museum received a generous grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to fund a fellowship program aimed at Diversifying the Field of Curation and Conservation. Interns from HU will assist the two Mellon Fellows on this project.
Working with the College of William & Mary, the Chrysler Museum will offer an internship focusing on American Art and curatorial research. W&M undergraduate students submit their application through the Charles Center.
