Forging Paths: Grounded by Memory
July 29, 2025 — September 7, 2025
Margaret Shepard Ray Student and Family Gallery
2025 Intern Exhibition
How do experiences and memories shape an individual’s path? This exhibition explores that question through works by three artists: Zoe Buckman, Mary Cassatt, and Rowena Federico Finn. Each artwork exemplifies how women have broken barriers to redefine who a female artist can be in the art world. Through their use of household items and domestic themes, these works reflect on the idea of the home as a space designated for women. Together, the artists highlight female resilience and demonstrate the power of drawing on memory to claim one’s voice and forge new paths. 2025 Summer Interns Simone R.
