2023 Artists/Educators

On View

October 3, 2023 — December 3, 2023

Location

Family and Student Gallery

Artists/educators bring vitality to our communities. The 33 artists included in this exhibition work in Norfolk and Portsmouth as both visual artists and public school educators. By maintaining their own studio practice, each of these artists/educators bring an awareness to their profession that builds trust and models experimentation for their students. The youth in these two public school districts learn from talented working artists, and this exhibition celebrates those teachers who work to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers.

Shara Wertz, Lambert’s Point, 2021, watercolor on paper
