Event Series: Wonder Wednesdays

Every Wednesday in July, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Back by popular demand, the Chrysler Museum of Art’s Wonder Wednesdays are wonder-filled days for all ages (and, yes, adults too) that take visitors on fun adventures throughout the Museum. There are lots of hands-on art-making, experimentation, multisensory activities, and, most of all, imagination at play. Designed for diverse learning styles and abilities, this year Wonder Wednesdays celebrates America250. At each Wonder Wednesday, there will be a lively performance and a special area for children under 4. Join us each Wednesday this July for a wonder-full day!

This week celebrates Place and Space — how where we live helps shape who we are. Critters from the Zoo and friends from the Wetlands Watch will join the fun. Create origami, design a cardboard community, configure a paper escape land, and hear inspiring stories from storyteller Sheila Arnold!
