Infinite Editions: Printmaking for Connection and Exchange
September 30, 2025 — December 7, 2025
Margaret Shephard Ray Student and Family Gallery
This collection of prints celebrates the diversity of expertise, style, and process coming from Hampton Roads printmakers. Printmaking is a wonderfully surprising and infinitely complex art form, and these talented artists work to make it accessible to anyone who is curious.
Printmaking is everywhere, and a recent exhibition at the Chrysler Museum of Art featured a selection of prints made in Oaxaca, Mexico. During the exhibition Oaxaca Central: Contemporary Mexican Printmaking, we created a central space where anyone could try out a printmaking process with a talented and welcoming guest printmaker. Over 3000 visitors learned from the generous and patient artists featured in this exhibition.
