Fall Down the Rabbit Hole at IgNITE: Mad Hatter

NORFOLK, VA (January 12, 2026) –
Who: The Chrysler Museum of Art invites partygoers and creatives ages 18+ on a fantastic journey through Wonderland during IgNITE: Mad Hatter, an exciting night of progressive performances, dancing, and surprises around every corner.
What: A night at the Chrysler Museum turns surreal as stories come to life, featuring actors, musicians, writers, poets, and more. Grab your favorite hat or make one at the event to get into character. Then, escape from reality as you explore the Museum’s collection on an adventure you will not soon forget, including:
- Special event cocktail created by Josh Seaburg of Model Citizen Cocktails
- Immersive performances by CORE Theater and ROŪGE: Theater Reinvented
- Mad music mixes by DJ Illmatic Beats with House grooves by DJ Phillie
- Vocal stylings of the Doorway Singers, hip hop swagger by Coffee Black and XIMERAx, and Words will Count with The Muse
- An interactive adventure where artwork comes to life
- A bizarre tea party, local art vendors, and plenty of photo ops

Why: IgNITE: Mad Hatter invites new and returning art lovers to experience the Chrysler Museum’s collection in unexpected ways, including music, movement, storytelling, and shared discovery. By blending contemporary artistic expressions with timeless works of art, the Museum creates a welcoming, high-energy space where creativity sparks connection.
