Hampton Roads Student Gallery
March 3, 2026 — March 29, 2026
Oval Gallery
For more than 30 years, the Hampton Roads Student Gallery has provided high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in museums and cultural institutions in the region. Each year, teachers and administrators team up to raise awareness about this unique opportunity while encouraging experimentation and creativity. Averaging submissions in the hundreds, this prestigious competition features a large-scale exhibition and portfolio review. The works are judged by a panel of knowledgeable arts professionals, resulting in six finalists and twenty honorees.
The six finalists are on view in the Chrysler Museum of Art during March, which is also nationally-recognized Youth Arts Month. The exhibition provides one-of-a-kind, teachable moments for both art practitioners and students and is the premier regional high school art show for Hampton Roads schools.
