2023 Summer Internships
Each summer, the Chrysler Museum invites some of the brightest minds and most creative thinkers to gain hands-on Museum experience through a rigorous internship program. This summer we were privileged to have six young professionals from schools across Virginia become vital team members.
The interns are placed within a home department where they are deeply involved in the daily operations of the Museum. Their professional development also continues with weekly information sessions with different departments across the Museum and weekly meetings to discuss issues within the museum field.
This year’s intern cohort exceeded expectations as they jumped eagerly into events, programs, and exhibitions. Their impact will continue to be felt long after they return to their campuses. The energy, fresh perspectives, insightful questions, and ability to learn new skills demonstrate that we can expect great things from these future museum colleagues.
