Photographs from the Chrysler Collection

The energy and vitality of the modern city, with its distinctive architecture and way of life, have long fascinated photographers, from Germaine Krull and Ilse Bing to Jun Shiraoka and Abelardo Morell. This focused, first-floor exhibition in the Kaufman Theatre Lobby explored the urban metropolis as a source of poetic and visual inspiration for photographers across generations and continents.
