See internationally acclaimed artist Richard Royal live at the Perry Glass Studio. Watch as he demonstrates blown and sculpted hot glass processes and learn about his work during a weekend of events.
Richard Royal is a native of the Northwest and is recognized as one of the most skilled and talented glassblowers in the studio glass movement. He began working as a glass sculptor in 1978 at the Pilchuck Glass School. Royal worked his way through the ranks to find himself as one of Dale Chihuly’s main gaffers. Currently, he is an independent artist exhibiting work internationally in both solo and group exhibitions.
Kick off the weekend on Thursday with Glass After Dark. Royal will join the Studio team for a memorable evening of molten glass, live music, snacks, and a cash bar. ($12 for Museum members, $15 for non-members)
