Historical documents give us insight into the lives and times of those that came before us – that is, if you can read them. Join us for an afternoon of learning about the importance of primary-source documents in genealogy and historical research, how to transcribe early American handwriting, and give it a try yourself with letters from the archives of the Myers family, the first permanent Jewish residents of Norfolk!
