Event Series: Teacher Workshop

Continue your professional development and learning through workshops designed for a variety of teachers, educators, and facilitators. Additional topics or customized sessions are available by request. School districts or divisions can collaboratively develop sessions with the Museum’s School & Teacher Programs Coordinator. All offerings provide certificates of completion for continuing professional education.

Identify and define major events in American history using works in A Shared Vision: The Macon and Joan Brock Collection of American Art. The Brock Collection spans nearly one hundred years of American art, from just after the Civil War to the mid-twentieth century. Develop and discover ways to use art as a catalyst for discussion to connect lived experiences with artistic responses. Refreshments provided.
