If you are looking for women who run with the wolves, come to November’s Mixtape. Inspired by the exhibition, Susan Watkins and Women Artists of the Progressive Era, this evening will be filled with acoustic vocals by Roberta Lea and a special rendition of the traveling series In Defense of Art: Making: Storytelling from Women Artists hosted by Heidi Peelen. You are also invited to get crafty at our roaming “Studio C” Wreath and Centerpiece Building workshop presented in Zinnia by the Chrysler Museum’s cherished Flower Guild.
Always fun, but never the same, Mixtape is your chance to wine and rewind during an evening of community, artmaking, and live performances. So come down to the Museum after-hours to get your creative juices flowing, play games, and spark connection. What’s in the mix each month?
Mixtape is a free community event, funded by The ArtBridges Foundation Access for All initiative.
