Always fun, but never the same, Mixtape is your chance to have a DIY evening with lots to do–but on your own schedule. From stellar live music performances to art-making, Mixtape is the place to get your creative juices flowing, relax, and spark a connection. What’s in the mix this month?

  • As always get crafty at Studio C!!!
  • Digital Detox: Unplug from your screens for the night and do an analogue (slower-paced, tactile) activity. We have a few options for you: Drawing, Chess, Checkers, a Puzzle, or a special Mad Lib Art Journaling activity.
  • Watch Global Groove (29 minutes), a 1973 film by Nam June Paik and John Godfrey in The Box.
  • Visit with the House Music Revival Project and learn the history of House Music

In the Goode Works on Paper Center, be mesmerized by Harold Eagerton’s photographs,  pioneering stroboscopic photography, the technique of capturing and depicting kinetic energy, such as Tumblers (1942).
