Event Series: IgNITE

Step into a new era of museum nightlife at the revolutionary art party everyone’s talking about: IgNITE! This bold, always-surprising event is designed to spark your imagination with a high-energy, multi-sensory experience packed with art, dancing, performances, creativity, and more.

A spectacular experience of color, sound, and good vibrations in this Haitian Carnival celebration! Join the fun by dressing in costume and being part of an eclectic and electric parade around the Museum. Enjoy drum circles, a fiery hot brass band, Samba-inspired Line Dancing, and DJ sets infused with global beats. To top things off, watch Caribbean cooking demonstrations and be among the lucky few to participate in a special rum tasting with Josh Seaberg of Model Citizen.

Carnival fits are encouraged. For safety and security, handheld masks with stick handles are permitted, but full-face and masquerade-style masks are not permitted. Attire should not extend 6 inches past the body. No nudity.

Ages 18+

$10 for Museum members, $25 for non-members. Tickets increase $10 day of event, registration recommended.
