Learn about the first African Americans to arrive in Virginia in 1619 and gain insight into the enslaved people who worked for the Myers family. This program is a part of American Evolution, an initiative that highlights democracy, diversity, and opportunity and commemorates the 400th anniversary of many pivotal events that occurred in 1619 in Virginia.
The Moses Myers House is located at 323 E. Freemason Street, Norfolk. We recommend parking at the MacArthur Center.
