Barbara Earl Thomas works as an artist, writer, and visual storyteller. Through works in cut paper, glass, and text, she illuminates important stories, figures, and ideas related to Black American experiences. Working with layers, light, and color, she explores the physical and metaphorical world as a place of light and shadow. Join us for a talk with the artist as she discusses her inspiration and practice. Come early for an informal meet-and-greet with Barbara Earl Thomas in the exhibition gallery from 2-2:45 p.m.
$5 for Museum members, $10 for non-members. Registration is required.
