Spotted Around Town
Beginning in 1971, Walter P. Chrysler, Jr. gifted more than 10,000 artworks from his personal collection to the City of Norfolk. The gift, which included notable objects ranging from Ancient Egyptian and Roman glass to contemporary works by Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol, found a home at the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences, which was renamed in Chrysler’s honor.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this gift, find reproductions of these celebrated works on outdoor banners throughout Hampton Roads. Use the map below to find locations across the 757.
