Leaping Lizards! The Natural World of M. C. Escher
Many of Escher's works focus on insects, animals, lizards, and fish. Create Escher-like
images of these creatures on scratchboard and foamboard.

Explore the medium of pen and ink to create Escher-inspired patterns.

Concert
Metamorphosis: An Escher-Inspired Concert by
the Virginia Chorale
Friday March 5 & Saturday, March 6, 8 p.m.
(pre-concert discussion begins at 7 p.m.)
Just as Escher's prints seem to change before your eyes, so choral music has evolved
through the ages. Join us for a concert in which the music changes "right before your
ears!"

Workshop
Saturday, April 10, 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Learn the basics of linoleum printmaking and create your own
personalized bookplates inspired by Escher's art.
